Alisa was very patient as we changed our home criteria many times and she helped us find a place we're very happy with. Alisa went to many properties for us as we house hunted from another state. When we planned a trip to view houses in-person, she prepared by going to many of them ahead of our visit. She is extremely professional yet very kind. We were lucky to have Alisa Pepper as our realtor, particularly as first-time home buyers in a difficult market like Santa Barbara. Alisa is someone who has all the qualities you need in a realtor like strong market knowledge, negotiation strategy, and attention-to-detail, as well as people skills that we really appreciated like being patient, transparent, and kind. She was patient and transparent throughout the process. She patiently listened to us when we were flooding her with first-time buyers questions, never pressured us to make decisions, and remained supportive during a particularly long lending process with our chosen lender. We went to at least five open houses with her, and for each she pointed out both the strong points as well as potential downsides. It always felt like she was genuinely representing our interests rather than pushing us to close a sale. Her attention-to-detail and organization really stood out during the escrow and document signing process. Despite going through a drawn out escrow process (due to issues with the property) and having to sign so many documents, we never felt overwhelmed. She gave us a proper timeline of things, explained each step along the way, and gave us only a few things to do at each stage. This made us very relaxed and in control during the whole process. We couldn't recommend her highly enough!
