I've bought and sold a dozen or more properties in my long life and dealt with dozens of realtors both personally and professionally through my contracting business. Many have been wonderful, others not-so-much, and then there's Cal Brown. Her efforts in listing and selling our home in what had become a very challenging market were stellar. From our first meeting through to closing she was professional, engaged, and made us feel as though we were her only client. Her videographer and photographer were great and the entire listing was truly the best I've ever seen. Cal also represented us when we bought the home in 2021 and on both ends, she was excellent. Whether you are a buyer or a seller, there simply isn't a better realtor.
We first met Kate Stevens a long time ago, probably something like a decade and a half. At this point, I can't even remember the details, although I do remember the first meeting, and being alternately charmed by the accent and personality, and impressed by the professionalism. Every time we came to Florida on vacation, we'd drag Kate around St Augustine to show us houses, which she did patiently, even while she no doubt despaired that we'd ever buy anything. In 2014, the time and property were finally right, and Kate helped us buy a vacation condo in Crescent Beach. Ever since then, whenever bad weather has hit northern Florida, we've had a message in our inbox, asking if we needed her to go over and check on our condo for us, before or after the storm. She's incredibly loyal, always helpful and happy to be of service, professional and positive even when things go wrong, and just generally a joy to be around. When we decided to sell the condo in the summer of 2025, there was no question that we would call Kate again, and once again, she got the job done quickly and competently, with all due sympathy for us getting rid of what had been our Happy Place for more than a decade. When we get around to buying another Happy Place in Florida, we'll be calling Kate again, and we'll know we'll be in good hands.

Professional, friendly, and you know she cares. She did a wonderful job of finding us the perfect rental where we spent one year. After the sale there were things Cal did as little thank yous that were above and beyond the expectations of a realtor. Cal is more like a friend. 4 years later we made the difficult decision to move back to our home state and again, we knew we would call Cal to handle the sale of our home. Cal and Luis did the most amazing job with our listing, from the write up, to the video presentation, to the little things they did to accommodate our requests. All so well done.
