As first time buyers my husband and I felt overwhelmed.  We had heard so many horror stories of dishonest realtors-- were warned they would lie, cheat, and steal to close the deal as fast as possible.  Al couldn't be farther from this description.  He was patient-- took the time to understand what we wanted and was so generous with his time and expertise.  He was knowledgeable-- steered us away from houses with obvious red flags (cracks and water damage) and more subtle ones too-- proximity to highway sounds or industrial zoning.  He managed to make a highly stressful situation actually (dare I say it?) fun.  He rolled with my occasional cynical humor and our screaming children like a champ.  And he got us our house! He has earned his honest reputation and forever changed our minds about realtors.  We're converts and lifelong members of the Al fan club.

I am really glad my family had a friend refer us to Al, and I am happy to refer others to him. We had done some shopping around for homes with different realtors and, frankly, they gave us the “ick.” Al is a different breed. It was our first time buying a home and we were under a time crunch—our landlord was gifting the home and gave us a few weeks to relocate. We did not want a realtor who was just going to give us a flowery answer for the sake of being friendly. (Not that he isn’t friendly) We wanted someone with a strong knowledge base who could point out the things we may have missed about a house and ask the questions we did not know to ask—and that is what we got. If a house turned out to be a stinker we didn’t waste any more time on it. Al was looking out for us and not pushing us to just get a place just because of our time crunch. Al was great at identifying any potential concerns about homes we were viewing, and got to know what we really wanted and needed for a home. He was really good at responding to questions and preparing homes to view in an orderly way. He spent several Saturdays with us and our kids in tow, and now we have a beautiful place that really is the best we saw, and way better than I hoped we would get. I’m sure his tenure in this business and good relationships he has formed helped us secure the winning bid. We’re hoping we will not have to go thru this process again real soon, but if we do we’re definitely using Al.

Working with Jean was amazing. We came to her letting her know we were planning to move from New England to Denver. She did everything in her power from the very beginning to make that possible. We arranged 2 separate trips out to look for homes and she always had a list of homes that met our requirements ready to go. We looked through tons before finding our dream home. We actually found our home while we were out of state she video toured it for us same day. Her willingness to do that enabled us to actually get the home in a crazy competitive market. Once we purchased the home, Jean was amazing. She came to every meeting with the inspector. She pointed out things we should get on the report. She noticed a gutter we were missing and brought it to the house with her on moving day. We had a hiccup with signing remotely that Jean handled within minutes. Her diligence and dedication to the sale made for an amazing experience working with her. We will certainly use her again and recommend her to everyone we know.
