I was referred to Alison by a friend. After my first meeting with Alison, I knew that she was the person I wanted to work with. Alison spent an entire day the first day we toured homes trying to understand what I was looking for in a home. She explained how the entire process worked and answered all of my questions. Alison was great with dealing with me as a first time home buyer and wasn't put off by having to do a lot of hand-holding, with an indecisive buyer. The first weekend we went out to see houses in Sarasota and Bradenton, so I got a feel for different areas and neighborhoods. Alison was able to provide me with lots of background information on each area highlighting the pros and cons of each and she was also able to point out potential problems that I would have completely missed. At the end of the first day we narrowed our focus to more specific areas and Alison had a much better understanding of what I wanted. Alison was very considerate of my time, when I came down for subsequent home tours. She would send me information in my personalized portal about every property she planned to show me. I appreciated the most, Alison allowed me to figure out on my own that my wish list wasn't congruent with what I expected to pay for a home. Once I made an offer, Alison was there to guide me through each step of the process. Additionally, Alison uses Docusign which allowed me to sign paperwork online. Since I was working during the day ( two hours away) this was convenient, as I was able to get the necessary paperwork signed and submitted on time. 23 days after my initial offer, I closed on my first home!!! Alison is genuine, trustworthy, knowledgeable, professional, patient and committed to making her client happy. There were days I was so frustrated, overwhelmed and discouraged.
