My husband and I began our search for the perfect vacation home a few years ago. We were so lucky to have Karen guide us on that search in finding the perfect spot on Lido Key! We have purchased and sold several homes and always found that our real estate brokers were sub-par. Karen far exceeded our expectations! We live and work in Maine so trying to find a home from thousands of miles away was not an easy task. She always made time for us anytime we were in town to show us properties. Continued to be patient with two years of searching until we find "the one". That's when she really went to work for us! I'm from Canada, and this was my first U.S. purchase. Paul had a listing I was interested in, so I called him directly. After some pertinent questions, Paul was able to direct me to listings that suited my search criteria specifically. I looked for months before finding a list of properties to come down to Florida and view. I gave Paul my list and he put together a few more that I didn't know about to see in one jam packed day of touring. By the end of the day, I was so happy to have seen everything that suited my style, and was confident when I made the offer on the one I wanted. It was a great day spent in the car with Paul getting all the local knowledge he had to share about neighborhoods, people, landmarks, and much more. He picked me up at my hotel first thing in the morning, toured all day, had a meal, made a deal, and dropped me back off at the airport the same night! WOW! If you have any apprehension being so far away and not knowing a realtor; this is your guy for this area. In the later days, the deal closed and Paul took care of many of the things I just couldn't get to by distance, which were above and beyond what your regular guy would normally do. Honestly; I don't know what I would have done without Paul looking after my best interest while I was up here in Canada working while the deal went through. I can't tell you how much I appreciate Paul and all the work he put into this to make it happen. I feel like a already have a friend in Florida when I get there.

We were selling my mother's condo "remotely" from Ohio. We were hit with 3 unexpected surprises: 1) the condo association began re-roofing her building right after listing; 2) water leaked into her condo from the condo above hers causing damage; and 3) Hurricane Irma arrived throwing a big monkey wrench in the closing schedule. Could more weird things happen? Susan made over 30 trips to my mothers property to let in inspectors and repairmen, check on repair progress and of course show the property. Through it all, she kept us up to date with timely emails and calls. We couldn't have sold the condo without her "over and above" commitment. She is also very nice and caring, which goes a long way when the going gets sticky.

Susan Burmaster has been both a listing and selling agent for me. In both cases she proved to be very competent in all aspects regarding real estate. During a purchase as questions arose she always kept digging until there was a staisfactory response. When selling property Susan kept close tabs on the property, making sure there were no problems with the property. This included after harsh storms when the property was vacant.

I worked with Susan to sell my condo and find my next home. At the last minute the bank I was working with on my mortgage was not able to approve me (not due to anything I had done), I contacted Susan and within one hour she had another lender who could work with me, she sent all the paperwork she had to get me started. While I found the selling and buying a bit frustrating, Susan was not. She was helpful throughout the whole process. I appreciated her input to help sell my condo and her recommendations when I asked for vendors I had not worked with before. Susan was very knowledgeable of the area and I have been happy to stay in touch with her and recommend her to friends and co-workers.
