The search for housing is usually a daunting, nerve-racking experience, more so when a buyer crosses state lines to engage in such a search. Sometimes, rules that apply to the search in one’s current state may not apply in toto to that in one’s future destination. And even much more daunting is a search bereft of a buyer’s firsthand knowledge of the target property. Enter Jerry. It was in the context of those scenarios that real estate agent Jerry A. Borresen made my search-and-purchase experience seamless. (I was selling in one state and purchasing pari passu in another.) Jerry was well versed in consumer and interpersonal behaviors—and her professional expertise transcended the boundaries of real estate. She was demonstrably cosmopolitan. She was meticulous in every facet of the transaction. She was passionate about exceeding expectations from the get-go. She was robustly communicative, an attribute that served as my second pair of eyes on the ground—a strength critical to my purchase of a property largely sight unseen. Perhaps most important was Jerry’s folksy, down-home disposition, which graced our interactions. It was easy to reach her, to chat with her, to share purchase possibilities and thoughts with her. Even after settlement, Jerry still kept in touch to ensure I was adapting well to my new community. What an endearing human trait! Jerry—of New Millennium Realty—is a real estate agent extraordinaire and a tour de force who embraced my housing interests with full professionalism, unalloyed commitment, infectious warmth and ambient ownership. In essence, Jerry made home purchasing easy-peasy for me.
