We’ve known James and his wife for nearly 12 years — long before he became our agent — and choosing him to guide us through this home‑buying process was one of the best decisions we made. This wasn’t an easy journey, but every challenge we faced had to do with the lender and the builder, not James. Through all of it, he showed up for us in every possible way. James helped us find a great inspector, walked us through multiple blue‑tape walkthroughs, and even he and his wife (Brittany) answered several lender‑related questions for us despite the fact that we weren’t using them as a lender due to builder incentives. Throughout the entire process, James answered calls and texts at pretty much any time of day — and on several occasions, well past normal business hours. This is the second house we have had Crystal McCall for our selling agent. In both cases she prepared outstanding on-line presentations which showed the houses in their best light. They were both fine houses, but she made sure potential buyers saw them in the best way possible. The first house was in November 2024. The market was not too good or too bad. We got an offer at full price in 4 days after listing. It closed without incident. The buyers were very pleased with the purchase. The sale was completed in less than one month from the listing date. The second house was just this last Spring. We had Crystal list it in mid-February 2026. The market was pretty soft around then, but we had moved out and needed to list it at that time. There was good early response, but nothing panned out immediately. Not being at all discouraged, Crystal continued her proven sales process. She kept us in the loop on a regular basis. We received a firm offer meeting our expectations, and we closed on the house in late April 2026. These buyers were also very pleased with the home. The first house took 3 weeks from listing to closing. We thought that was pretty good. The second took longer. The soft housing market and the number of houses for sale was fairly large. It was just over 4 weeks before we had a firm sales contract. It then closed in a normal 4 weeks or so. We strongly recommend Crystal McCall if you want a tremendous team of sales and office personnel working for you. We are no longer in the Ocala area, but would go with Crystal on a future sale/or purchase if she were anywhere near us.
