By reputation among people we know, we anticipated Kimberly Cestari would be outstanding even before asking her to be our listing agent. She exceeded our expectations by enormous margins. Most high-quality agents can get sales done for you in a very satisfactory way. Kimberly is on a higher level altogether. We had a very complex sale, involving an emergency situation in which only the most knowledgeable and creative agent could navigate. We lost the original buyer because of a financing-related matter. Rather than starting over, Kimberly knew through extended discussions the other buyers who were most interested. Kimberly put together a process to substitute another buyer — and at a sales price that benefited from a bidding escalation. We loved the sales price. There is no way to convey here how complicated this situation was. I am convinced that only Kimberly could've pulled this off. She has to be the best by far of anyone around. And she knows our former neighborhood thoroughly. One difference (compared to other agents we interviewed) we noticed about Kimberly that she invariably will pause and intently listen to you rather than talk over you, re-direct you and correct you. This way, we achieved a strong working relationship. She's a really wonderful person too. Kimberly was able to pull in many other sales agents because of her extensive outreach network and because they know and trust her. Finally, Kimberly was always easy to keep in touch with. Kimberly is sure to outwork any other agent, to achieve your best interests.

Kimberly Cestari pulled off a tour de force. From a tentative placement of our house as a private listing to a complicated cross continent move and settlement, Kimberly helped us find people to do the work—or did it herself. Even a severe storm didn’t daunt her. The sale at asking price was accomplished. Astounding.

We worked with Kimberly to purchase our home on Barnaby St in Washington, DC, about 11 years ago. When it was time to sell for a work relocation in the Spring of 2025, we went with Kimberly to help us out. Kimberly set a sales strategy and identified priority investments to prepare for a sale. The suggestions were great - improvements for minimal investment. I wish we would have done this years ago. Kimberly worked her network and we had two interested parties prior to the first open house. The pricing strategy was great, and we received a pre-showing offer for $100k above asking, which we elected to take. On top of that Kimberly was able to negotiate a significant no-cost lease-back to allow my son to complete high school and me to identify a new home with minimal gap between leaving DC and arriving in Santa Fe. In Santa Fe, Kimberly was able to leverage her network again to help us find a realtor (Tom Abrams) who was also excellent. All told, it was a great experience and we maximized our value on both ends of the transaction with Kimberly's great work.
