When I embarked on this journey to settle in Arizona, I had no idea of what I was doing. I was stressed to the max and decision making was an afterthought. I had been surfing Zillow for over 8 months from Massachusetts before I packed a U-Haul and drove to AZ. I was referred to Homes for Heroes by a fellow veteran and I was nervous to say the least. I hadn't purchased a home in over 34 years! I found a few places on Zillow that I wanted to look at so I called, made an appointment and my "Big Brother " Ron showed up!! He made me feel so comfortable even after I told him I was clueless on the process! He coached, guided and supported me with ever step. There was never a dumb or wrong question. He understood my fears and listened to my rants then explained everything in a manner I could understand. Ron is not just a Great Agent he's a PHENOMINAL HUMAN BEING and I'm blessed to have him as my agent but more so as a friend. There are not enough words to describe the comfort I felt knowing he had/has my back through this entire process and beyond. When I think of the work the Homes for Heroes does before, during and after the home buying process, it makes perfect sense why Ron is a part of this organization. His heart is in it to the core. Stacy did a good job getting our property sold. She knew what she was doing. It just didn't bring the value we thought it would, but she did a good job of getting it sold. Lots of work for her and we answered the questions and jobs she had for us that we could. The market seemed softer because there were a lot of houses on the market.
