For over 25 years, I have been dedicated to making homeownership a reality, most recently helping more than 185 clients find their dream homes in the beautiful Lowcountry. I would be thrilled to assist you next! My expertise spans various aspects of real estate, with a specialization in relocation, new home construction, and golf course communities across South Carolina. I am deeply passionate about guiding people toward their housing goals while using clear and fast communication. As an Ohio native, I understand the intricacies of buying and selling homes across state lines, having navigated the market from Ohio to Arizona and now to South Carolina. Building on a lifelong passion for education, I spent a decade teaching high school Spanish in Ohio, Arizona, and South Carolina. For me, teaching was not just about language; it was about immersing students in a rich culture. I had the joy of taking students to Spain and Costa Rica several times, where we focused on community service and cultural exchange by living with local families. This experience honed my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, guide others through important decisions, and maintain patience and adaptability, skills that now serve my real estate clients well. On a personal note, I humbly admit that my own home-buying experiences have been influenced by my love for my dogs. Our move from Ohio to Arizona was inspired by the desire for a better quality of life, ensuring that our senior dogs could enjoy water therapy in our backyard with their own pool. Later, when relocating to Bluffton to be closer to family, I kept our two mini Australian Shepherds in mind, searching for properties where they could run and play freely. I hold both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Cincinnati, graduating Summa Cum Laude. I received the "Education Student of the Year" and "Outstanding Achievement in Spanish" awards from UC. I strive for excellence in every endeavor, driven by my father’s belief that "your reputation is everything." This principle guides me in my commitment to achieving the best for my clients. Deb Thompson was all we could have hoped for as our real estate agent, combining competence, professionalism, and the highest level of dedication to her craft and to her clients. She sold our home at full price having a buyer in mind ideally suited for it before it went on the market. She was always accessible to our texts and phone calls, responding with an understanding and caring attitude to sometimes trivial questions we had during the pre-settlement period. She went beyond expectations in so many ways acting as a skilled intermediary when assisting with our sale of household items we no longer needed in our new home. Nancy and I could not have been more pleased with our choice of Deb who epitomizes the ideal realtor in every way.

Katie Bruno is an amazing Real Estate Agent but more import she is a great person to deal with.

My wife and I are both Agents in New York and we thought we new the business inside and out. It did not take long to realize how different things are in South Carolina. Katie Bruno gracefully and with great knowledge took us through the process. If she did not have complete knowledge of a particular point she did not hesitate to find the answer. Lets mention her energy and perseverance, how refreshing. Katie Bruno went above and beyond to help, especially since we had to make trips back and forth to New York. Katie never lost focus and kept our needs paramount in this deal. This Agent knows the market and communicates well. Katie Bruno has the talent to recognize the sellers needs and buyers needs and is able to negotiate for her clients best interests. We truly appreciated all she did for us checking on items we needed her to review and keeping us update on her findings. In conclusion we would say that if we had our own business where our money was at risk, we would hire Katie in a minute. She is the real deal, We highly recommend Real Estate Agent Katie Bruno.
