Jenny Filkens is simply outstanding. We could not have asked for a better realtor. Having bought and sold homes five times in our lives, our experiences with other realtors pale in comparison to Jenny. We lived in Maryland, were purchasing a home in the Hilton Head area, and we selected Jenny as our buyers agent. Despite our being several states away, Jenny represented us at the home inspection, kept us informed on everything identified and then made additional trips to the home with service contractors afterward on our behalf. She worked tirelessly to resolve issues that came up during the inspection and relentlessly tracked down the builder’s representative to get clear answers on warranty implications. Nothing was left unaddressed. Jenny is a consummate professional, honest, and has a genuinely positive personality. She meets obstacles head-on and stays with them until they are resolved. Her expert communication skills kept us informed on all developments and kept us apprised of key milestones and deadlines during the buying process. Her dogged determination made all the difference and demonstrated she will always go the extra mile for her clients. Pete has been our realtor on the Island for about ten years. He worked to help us buy a condo at the Palmetto Bay Club which had a killer view but was a little small with one bedroom. So he worked to get us a larger condo in the Hilton Head Plantation over looking Skull Creek and the Hilton Head Island Bridge. Still a killer view with beautiful sunsets, but with twice the room. We always said "The Village of Skull Creek West" Had a million dollar view for a lot less money. Pete has always been available even if it has been a golf question or two as he is also a PGA teaching pro. He has been on the island for a long time and knows the people to get things done like final inspection repairs and choices for the best closing attorneys. All in all, Pete has done a great job for us and with the added value of becoming our friend.

Greg is a phenomenal realtor; we can't sing his praises enough! He was hands-on for every step of our home buying process, he's a great communicator, and he has wonderful connections locally of trustworthy people (from the inspector, to the law firm, and the mortgage loan officer, etc). Greg is a stellar negotiator, and helps you get the best price possible - he's not afraid to fight for your best interest. He has lived in the area for years and understands our local market well, so he has a realistic grasp on the current value of homes here. We would 100% recommend him and we will absolutely use him again if we ever need to.
