Jo Walker was referred to us by our friends who purchased a home about a year and a half prior to myself and my husband moving to Florida. Moving to a new state means not always knowing where to turn when making big or even small decisions and purchasing a home is definitely a BIG one! Jo went out of her way LITERALLY, as she lives over an hour away from where we were looking to settle down. When we reached out to her she was actually on vacation hundreds of miles away, but like any great realtor she is never far from her laptop or phone. Since we were interested in beginning our search before she was able to return, she didn't hesitate to reach out to multiple sellers agents to assist us. Then when she returned a few days later she contracted the flu and still managed to assist us virtually. We finally got to meet in person somewhere around the third home and we absolutely loved her. When we made our decision on a home she navigated all the intricacies we have come to expect from realtors, all of the details that would make novices like you and me want to throw our hands up and walk away. The home we wanted and eventually purchased had minor property damage from hurricane Ian and a prior contract in place for a new roof unrelated to Ian. We never had to deal with situations like this before but she handled them amazingly. She's a "kick the tires and look under the hood" kind of realtor...lol! What I mean by that is, every step of the process, from the initial walk through, to the repairs, the roofing contract, EVERYTHING. She advised us on what to consider, pros and cons, size of the property, condition of the appliances etc, as if she were considering buying the house with you. That is EXACTLY the kind of realtor we like and that is EXACTLY the kind of realtor you get with her. All of that expertise, delightful personality, sense of humor and someone who took the time to get to know us. We highly and confidently recommend Jo Walker...and her little dog Coco. : )

The pandemic made it impossible for me to attend my closing. Barb stepped up and performed the final walk through and met all the utility and service people for me and took care of everything. I couldn’t be more pleased with the way ghkngs turned out!
