Real estate teams in Oakland

Cheryl and Lori were absolutely amazing to work with! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They were professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process. We are so grateful for their guidance and support and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!

Cheryl Hata is an incredible realtor and an amazing human being. We feel very fortunate to have met and worked with Cheryl. She is an outstanding communicator and is seemingly always available to look at houses or answer any questions. We were most impressed with Cheryl’s service post-sale. Since we weren’t moving locally, she not only recommended contractors (HVAC/Flooring), she took it upon herself to meet them at the property to obtain quotes, in order for the project to be completed before move-in. There are many more examples of Cheryl’s dedication to her clients, but suffice it to say that we cannot recommend her more strongly and feel that we not only found a home, we found a friend.

10/23/26 During business with my Relator, Mr. Jeff Goodman has been nothing more than the BEST and EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE. From the inception of meeting him to discuss my circumstances and providing his professional services to assist with selling of recently deceased dear Mother’s home that was held in her Living Trust, from signing and placing on the MLS throughout the entire process, Jeff has been the BEST!!! I signed with Jeff in his Alameda office and had to leave the area shortly after signing with him due to living in Virginia. I was able to honestly trust Jeff to carry out the entire process. I completed all signature requirements vice email Docusign which I experienced minimal stress. His dedication and professionalism were matched by his GENUINE COMPASSION and RESPECT for my circumstances (recent loss of my mother and selling her home in which was my childhood home). During the entire 3 months in which the house was on the market and was sold in such timely manner, Jeff completely as promised kept me abreast of all of the processes every step of the way!! There was never a time that I felt out of the loop or unclear about anything. He definitely advocated/represented me and held my hand through the selling process!! He is definitely so very professional, compassionate and so easy to communicate with, along with the greatest humor and personality. I’d definitely do business with him as well as refer him to others!! GREAT RELATOR AND PERSON!! Jeff, thank you so much for all of your professional services that you’ve provided to both me and my dear mother. Your professionalism, kindness, sense of humor, compassion and dedication have really made this process easy for me. Truly means a lot. Stay Blessed. Seller: Germaine Dedrick

Very satisfied with Jeff's level of experience. No matter what weird situation came up, he was able to provide calm guidance. He kept me up to date with everything happening and made sure every decision was mine without being overwhelming. I was quite happy with the overall experience as well as the end result.

Marianne is a fantastic agent! She made it possible for us to buy our lovely Upper Rockridge home. We had looked largely on our own for over a year, and finally found a property that we wanted to bid on. We put in a bid that we knew would probably not be the top one, hoping to get a better deal should the top bidder not follow through. And so it went. When we heard that the seller was reconsidering our bid, among others, Marianne’s advice was just so wise and valuable. She helped us work through the process by consulting on an appropriate counter bid and helped us in navigating the complexities of negotiating with the seller. In the end, Marianne’s advice and support made it all possible. And today, we are happy in our new home, and very grateful to our wonderful agent, Marianne Scott. We highly recommend her!

Marianne and Lindsay Scott were my realtors for selling a multi-unit building in Oakland. They were a great mother daughter team—well-informed, timely, thorough, and professional. They answered all of my questions and provided infinite wisdom throughout the entire process. Not only were they professional, but they were also enjoyable and fun to work with, adding just the right amount of humor to what can sometimes be an emotional business of selling a beloved asset. Thank you both for bringing light, honesty, integrity, and wisdom to selling my building, and more importantly, for finding the best possible clients to be the new owners.

I met Mareijke back when she was owning finance/accounting in the corporate space as the Controller for Method Products (SC Johnson). Her tenacity, kindness, and care for the people she’s helping has grown exponentially since she transitioned to real estate. Throughout the house hunting process, Mareijke was by our side, guiding, educating, and reassuring us. Behind the scenes, she made sure we were getting the best deal, and setting us up for an upward moving financial future with this investment we were making. I 200% recommend her!

Mareijke is warm, kind, professional and just the best agent one can hope for. I could not have don't this journey without her. It was my first time buying a house and she held my hand in every step explaining the details thoroughly. From where to look for when seeing the house, how to read the disclosure documents, making the offer letter, what the step is for getting mortgage, insurance etc etc. I cannot thank her enough and would recommend her to anyone who is looking to sell/buy the property.

We had the pleasure of working with Mareijke in our recent home purchase, and from the initial consultation to the closing, she demonstrated thoroughness, professionalism and expertise. She truly listened to our needs and preferences and her extensive knowledge of the area we were searching for a home was evident. When we touring homes, we appreciated how she pointed out potential issues and educated us on what to look out for. Communication was seamless throughout the entire process. She was always responsive to calls and emails, promptly addressing any questions or concerns we had. We're grateful for Mareijke's assistance in landing us our dream home.
