We can't say enough good things about Jess and her teammate Lisa. We were searching for a home for our small and growing family in the Lafayette area, and actually met Jess by chance at a local restaurant, from that first conversation it was clear how well she knows the local market. As a fellow parent raising kids in the area, she genuinely understood what we were looking for in a home and a neighborhood, and that made all the difference throughout our search. Lisa was a great help along the way as well. We'd highly recommend Jess and her team to any family searching in Lafayette.

Kaaren was exceptional throughout the entire process. This is the second home she's helped us buy and sell, and once again she exceeded our expectations. She is knowledgeable, responsive, strategic, and a pleasure to work with. We recommend Kaaren without hesitation and wouldn't consider working with anyone else.

I have not purchased a new home in decades and was not familiar with current home/condo procedures. It was very helpful to have my realtor Jill Balazs by my side since she knows the in's and out's of the entire process. She was very proactive, looking out for my best interests and providing recommendations and resources in a respectful way so I could then make my own best decisions. She communicates well, was very reliable/responsive, and showed up during all the important moments. Jill also had helpful contacts related to the title company, insurance, and contractors. Working with her gave me peace of mind and I would recommend her services and expertise to anyone looking to purchase a new home in Contra Costa.

Oh my gosh, Cathy Baigent is the ultimate example of excellence in communication - she is positive of spirit, knowledgeable of her area and other areas as well. Quick to respond to questions and always kept us apprised of what was next to come. She worked with us on what needed to be done to bring us the most value in the marketplace and she stayed up on the comparable homes for sale in our area. She also got us above our asking price. I highly would recommend her to anyone buying or selling their home.

This property was marketed as a diamond in the rough. Angela worked hard to show all the benefits of the 70+ year old house and how it could become a fantastic property for the right buyer. She was very communicative and action oriented. I would work with her again on my next property.

We’ve worked with Holly Sibley on multiple transactions, including buying two homes and now selling our previous one. She is incredibly patient and never rushes us, which made a big difference in such important decisions. At the same time, she’s a strong negotiator who always looks out for our best interests. We highly recommend Holly to anyone buying or selling a home.

My husband and I were thrilled with the excellent service, professionalism and organizational skills of Jennifer Caldwell Jones. From the outset she handled all of our concerns with the utmost sensitivity. Selling one’s residence of many years is a very personal and often sensitive undertaking, and Jennifer handled each aspect with tact, professionalism and understanding. We never felt pressured to sign on for any services we were not comfortable with. She helped us make some difficult decisions which despite some hesitancy on our part ensured us a fast sale at a price above asking. Her knowledge of the market was impressive and accurate. That came in crucially when we sat down with her to come up with the correct asking price. She also had a wealth of professionals behind her which she called upon for all the countless tasks to ready our home for sale! Cleaners, stagers, movers, painters, inspectors the list goes on and on - all excellent professionals who handled everything that needed doing, without us having to lose sleep on any single detail. One more thing: Jennifer Caldwell Jones’ organizational skills were on display from day one! She arrived at our first meeting with a printed calendar with everything listed day by day- meetings, deadlines- for the first two weeks. Then after that as things progressed she prepared new, updated calendars so we were never at a loss for what was happening next. She was so organized, she managed to keep us organized as well! Once we had an accepted offer and close of escrow drew near she kept us informed of what the Title Company needed and how the signing would take place. The very last item she prepared for us was almost beyond the pale: an entire Excel spreadsheet of every expense we incurred to prepare our home for sale for us to present to our tax accountant to calculate deductions from capital gains. In all, we could not have had a better real estate experience than we enjoyed with Ms. Caldwell Jones.

We met Steven Good by chance at an open house he was hosting, and it truly felt fated. From the very beginning, Steven went above and beyond in every possible way. We were upfront that we were looking for more than what the market suggested was realistic for the amount we planned to spend, yet he never discouraged us, never applied pressure, and never showed an ounce of judgment. Instead, he invested an incredible amount of time, patience, and effort into understanding exactly what we wanted and helping us pursue it thoughtfully. The process itself was understandably challenging at times, particularly because we used a VA home loan in the Bay Area—an already competitive market—which includes the added complexity of required Section 1 contingencies. While we were negotiating and addressing the Section 1 barriers to loan approval, Steven was exceptionally communicative, proactive, and steady. His deep knowledge of homes, construction quality, inspections, neighborhood dynamics, and the Bay Area market gave us confidence at every step. He also demonstrated a strong working understanding of the VA loan process and applied that knowledge effectively during negotiations to help move the transaction forward. Thank you, Steven, for being there for us when it mattered most. Throughout the entire experience, Steven was personable, extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and invested in our success, and it was a pleasure getting to know him along the way. He is not only an outstanding real estate agent, but a truly great person. We now consider him a friend of our family, and if we were ever to buy another home, Steven would be the first person we would call. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for an agent who will truly go the extra mile.
