I highly recommend that you hire agent Alan Deckel to sell your San Luis Obispo County home. As a probate attorney, I deal with many real estate agents and brokers – I’m typically involved in one or two sales per month, most of them near my office in the Sacramento area. I wish Alan were in Sacramento! In the fall of 2021, I was appointed Executor of the estate with a home in Los Osos. I’m so fortunate to have found Alan to help me prepare and sell the home. Alan put together a plan for inspecting the house, making repairs, working with the County on a potential code issue, arranging an estate sale, cleaning the home, removing debris from the yard, staging the home appropriately, and then marketing the home online through MLS and elsewhere. He then implemented the entire plan, just as he had promised, needing almost no involvement from me. Alan created an auction-like atmosphere for the home, receiving several good offers, some of which exceeded the listing price by over 10%. Once we were in contract, he was there to personally make sure the escrow closed as efficiently as possible. Alan Deckel did a great job for me from start to finish. I highly recommend him.

Alan was so good to explain the many details of our sale! We are an older couple and needed help. We had moved out of the area and we’re doing the sale remotely. The details of the sale went smoothly and it was a huge relief for us. Alan worked with the buyers very well. For us it was a real gift.

I have worked with many realtors over the years and Alan has handled a number of sales for me personally as both a buyer's and a seller's agent. By far, he is the best realtor I have ever worked with. His knowledge of real estate, the market, and all aspects of real estate transactions is outstanding. Alan provides his clients with 24/7 support and guidance, and he consistently goes far beyond what I would normally expect from any other realtors I have worked with. I recommend him without any hesitation.
