The home-buying process definitely took us on a bit of a rollercoaster ride at first. We initially connected with a realtor through a recommendation, but it just didn’t end up being the right fit —So, we ended up dropping him. This all happened just days before our planned trip to Florida to look at homes… yes, days before! But then everything seemed to fall into place. I went to Realtor.com to schedule a tour for a home we were eyeing, and within minutes, Shelly called us. She quickly got a feel for what we were looking for and lined up several showings for our trip. All while she was about to take a long weekend to go visit family. Come to find out, she had even been in touch with my mother-in-law about a year ago when we first started talking about relocating from Wisconsin to Florida—such a small world! 😅 Shelly was absolutely amazing to work with, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Which made the entire process feel so seamless even while we were over 1,000 miles away.
