Summer was really good about taking things slow and just browsing with me until I found what I wanted. She also turned me on to a neighborhood that I wasn’t originally considering, and that’s where I ended up finding my house! She’s super chill and won’t make you feel like you need to do anything you don’t want to. Also, she will give you her honest opinion if you ask haha.
We found Summer after calling the number on a house she was selling. She was there within 15 minutes, and we knew right away that she was the realtor for us. Throughout our entire house hunt, she balanced logic and emotion perfectly. She also has the best sense of style and a popping social media presence. She made the house hunting process so fun and we always felt like she was listening to us so well. She also replied very quickly to each and every message and was so quick to schedule showings. Because of her, we were the first people to view our house not even 18 hours after the listing had been posted. Through the entire process, she answered every question we threw at her (even the dumb ones) and helped us through a not so great inspection report. We couldn't recommend her more. If you want a realtor who is down to earth, willing to go to bat for her clients, and is just generally an amazing and cool person, choose Summer.
As first-time home buyers during a total seller’s market, this process was so intimidating, but from the first phone call, Summer made everything so palatable and easy. She was honest about what amenities and features we could get within our budget and set our expectations from the very beginning. She quickly picked up on our tastes and sent us suggestions. Never once did she make us feel like we were putting her out when we went to look at listings and she was always honest if she felt that a house was going to be more work than we wanted or if there were signs of issues with a house. Within a week we found a really cute little house that we wanted to put an offer on. After calling the seller’s agent to get the scoop, we learned we had only a very short time to put in an offer. Summer and May got the paperwork done and sent to us before we could even get all the way home. And while our offer wasn’t accepted on that house, this anecdote is a perfect allegory for our entire experience with Summer. We knew the whole time that Summer represented other buyers and sellers, but her focus and dedication to us made us feel like were her only clients. She explained the process in simple terms, talked us down when we had a scare with our inspection, and negotiated fiercely on our behalf. Now we are the proud owners of a beautiful craftsman house with incredible character that we wouldn’t have looked at if Summer hadn’t encouraged us to take a second look. We would highly recommend Summer to anyone looking to buy or sell a house.
Summer was an absolute delight to work with! I initially found her on Instagram when I began my search for my first home. I sent her a message through her website and within the afternoon she called me back! She was very personable and clearly explained the home buying process as well as the current state of the market. She worked with me to figure out what exactly I was looking for in a house and spent an entire day out on the hunt with me until I found "the one". She is incredibly knowledgeable about the downtown area, especially the Eastside neighborhood I was searching in, was always available to answer questions, and helped me through every step of this stressful process. Summer performed beyond our expectations. She always kept us “in the loop”, guided us to a great inspector, repairman, electrician, and air condition guy. When we hit a couple of “ snags” in the paperwork and with the manager over the condos, she again advocated for us as well as contacted the appropriate people to help us solve a few issues. We were unable to physically”see” the condo at the time we were looking. Summer FaceTimed us and walked us through everything and was there FaceTiming when the inspector came. We were able to ask questions on the spot. We would highly recommend her. She will take great care of you!
