Summer Hudson

I've worked with Summer on previous projects and purchases. This year she helped me complete a project from hell. I ran into every possible bad contractor issue someone could run into. It felt like a bad comedy movie if someone else was watching. Summer constantly helped with situations that a realtor shouldn't and doesn't have to help with. She is very well connected and pulled additional resources and was able to stay positive in situations that I wasn't able to do it by myself. I've worked with multiple realtors since moving to the greater Indianapolis area ten years ago, but since working with Summer she is who I work with to invest my time and investments in. Anyone can look good when everything goes right. Real character is shown when things go sideways. Summers character has cemented my relationship with her and my choice for any future business.

As first-time homebuyers, we were so grateful to have someone as helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive as her by our side throughout the entire process. After experiencing a big disappointment with a previous offer, Summer worked hard to make sure our offer was strong this time around and helped us win the house we truly wanted! She was incredibly knowledgeable and made us feel confident and supported during what can be such a stressful and overwhelming process.

I worked with Delanie, and she was incredibly helpful and thoughtful throughout the homebuying process. She catered her communication and guidance to what I needed and was open to answering any question at any time of day. She made sure I thoroughly understood every step of the process and helped ensure to address the things she knew were most important to me. All of her communication was clear and timely. When it came to negotiation, she encouraged me to speak up for what I needed and went to bat to fight for what I wanted. She was with me every step of the way and I felt incredibly comfortable trusting her with this daunting process. Couldn’t have had a better experience.

Summer Hudson was professional, responsive, and communication was consistent and regular. She helped us get the property on the market quickly, and we appreciated her patience and guidance through the process. There are usually many moving pieces and it can feel overwhelming and confusing at times, it was evident that she was prepared for any questions we had and/or knowing where to find the correct resources for us to follow. Looking back, I think there may have been a disconnect between our expectations and what was realistic in the current market- not an uncommon occurence and not sure how anyone can remedy it, other than maybe watching less HGTV. We were hoping for a bit more information regarding pricing strategy that would maximize the sale price, even if it meant waiting a little longer for the offer. Instead, our home sold fairly quickly, which was certainly one of our primary goals, but we ultimately feel as if we settled with walking away with less than we'd hoped. That said, Summer was always courteous, a very down-to-earth professional, and fun/easy to work with. Her "love" of our Bates-Hendricks neighborhood as well as each property that she promotes is genuine and I think helped in personalizing our experience. Selling a home involves so many factors that are often outside anyone's control, and we totally appreciate all of the work she put into helping us close the sale. I started followed her on IG (findalottolove) for a good while before reaching out, and was immediately sold once we met in person. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced realtor, especially if they're looking for someone who knows how to move a property efficiently.
