About Me and My Journey as a Real Estate Professional
As a Broker Associate with eXp Realty and Team Owner of The Comerford Group, I bring a wealth of experience in real estate, luxury properties, investment, and development. My background extends beyond traditional brokerage—I am also an interior designer and builder, which gives me unique insights into property potential that I can effectively communicate to buyers.
My passion for real estate began early—so early, in fact, that my childhood play involved designing and developing elaborate "condo projects" for my Barbie dolls, much to my father’s amusement! This early enthusiasm evolved into a lifelong career, beginning with investing and developing properties in New York City as a young professional.
Furthering my education, I earned an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from Wharton Business School, which propelled me into a successful career on Wall Street as an investment banker and developer. Over the years, I specialized in high-value real estate transactions, leveraging my financial expertise to navigate complex investments. Seeking a new challenge, I transitioned from finance to real estate development, founding a boutique development company in NYC. Our firm specialized in acquiring undervalued properties and transforming them into ultra-luxury assets, with several of our projects featured in top industry magazines and television shows.
