Barry helped my fiance and I purchase our first home together. He went well above our expectations as far as researching homes we might be interested in, scheduling showing days, and talking through the pros and cons of each house we considered. When it came time for offers, our seller wanted to play hardball, but Barry came up with some awesome solutions to help us get into the house we loved at a price we could afford, and still satisfy all the seller's needs regarding the sale too. Selling and buying a home is extremely stressful, with mountains and valleys along the entire way. Barry is not just a realtor, he is everything under the sun. Barry has professionalism, kindness, helpfulness and the most patient individual I have ever met. He was tremendously helpful with every aspect of our selling of the house(which is the house he helped us first-time buyers 4 years ago). He answered every ridiculous question, I had with grace, professionalism and incredible knowledge. That was just a piece of the million piece puzzle we went through with this incredible human. We ended up with little to no extra money to hire help to pack, box and load everything into Uhaul trucks, this is where our incredible realtor comes in to save us. He cancelled plans, work shifts at his other job, and cleared his schedule completely and showed up at our house(the one we were living in and selling) in a huge Uhaul rented truck, and rolled up his sleeves and started loading the first of 2 trucks he rented, paid for with his personal moneys and filled full of our belongings completely. This man is an incredible human. After we loaded everything, we realized our newly bought house was not available to move into until the following day, yikes!!! He asked us where we wanted to spend the night, and he paid for 2 hotel rooms for a place for our family of 5 to stay. And a cash deposit of $400, because we live in Winston? Do not hesitate to hire this gentleman to help you buy a home, he will far exceed your expectations! Thank you again, Barry we will never be able to repay you for all you did for our family! When I was considering selling my home to downsize and pay off debts there was only one person that I thought of for the job and that was Barry. Barry had helped me in the past and I knew he was very good at what he does and I could count on him to find me a new home that matched what I was looking for and he did exactly that plus he even physically helped me move my belongings and provided moving trucks and a place to stay until closing which was incredible. I know that isn’t a typical situation but Barry is not your typical real estate agent, he’s also a very decent person that cares about his clients…

The whole experience from start to finish was a pleasure with Barry as we knew each other from my previous home purchase which also went very smoothly. Barry is very knowledgeable when it comes to real estate and all that goes with it and really takes the time to explain everything in detail and makes the whole process very pleasant and I really enjoyed working with him and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.

Barry was dependable, knowledgeable, honest, hard working, and just an all around awesome guy! Our selling and then buying process was great. We knew we were in good hands and what I thought was going to be somewhat of a stressful process was seemingly smooth with Barry taking care of us the entire way.
