Goodman, Realtors® was started and is owned by Andrew Goodman. Prior to becoming a Realtor®in 2004, Andrew was and still is a partner of his family’s development company, KGC Development, LLC. He has been able to use his construction background to help his clients have a better understanding of the home they are looking at purchasing and what to expect with home ownership. Andrew began his career as a Realtor with Gallagher & Co. Real Estate, Inc. based out of Bethesda, MD and continued with them for 9.5 successful years until he opened Goodman, Realtors®. With Gallagher & Co., Andrew teamed up with broker Eugene Gallagher and took on several new construction projects. They represented and sold several condominium buildings in downtown DC, multi-unit rental apartments, affordable housing communities, and town-home communities in DC, as well as in Baltimore city. Andrew decided to take his business one step further and help not only the savvy investor and developer, but offer his support to first time home buyers, as well as the everyday buyer and seller. Andrew was born and raised in Montgomery County, MD with a small stint in Pennsylvania while attending Pennsylvania State University. Andrew is a HUGE Nittany Lion fan, Redskins fan, and a diehard Washington Capitals fan. Many of his clients know that he works around the clock, but the few hours when Andrew is not working, you will most likely find him attending a Caps game. Real Estate is Andrew’s passion and his clients truly mean the world to him which is why his customer service cannot be matched and his attention to detail is truly remarkable. Andrew knows and expects all agents at Goodman, Realtors® to give their clients the same, if not more, attention and support during their own personal real estate transaction. Andrew has built his company around the philosophies that has made him respected among his family, friends, colleagues, and clients and because of that he is proud to put his name on the front door of Goodman, Realtors®.

Andrew is a fantastic broker

Andrew is a fantastic broker. He showed us many houses and gave us honest opinions about everything. He focuses on getting the right house instead of rushing to close a house. He made sure everything went smoothly till the end. We really enjoyed working with him and would definitely work with him again.

Andrew was the best listing agent I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He was highly recommended to me by a friend, and he exceeded my expectations. My closing was during a pending divorce and Andrew was an excellent mediator, straight forward, honest, incredibly responsive to my abundance of inquiries, extremely knowledgeable and professional. I selected him to list our marital home during a delicate marital situation and he far impressed my estranged husband as well! I would highly recommend him to all of my family and friends!

Andrew could not have made our selling process easier

Andrew could not have made our selling process easier. He and his staff have solid knowledge of the area, stay on top of the process, and most importantly for us, they are accessible and responsive to questions and follow-ups. We would definitely work with Andrew again as he made the burden of selling barely a chore and we didn’t feel lost in the shuffle like we anticipated with the mega-firm agents.

Our house needed to be worked on before we could sell it and Andrew recommended some good people at reasonable prices that we employed to prepare our house for sale. Then we put the house on the market and received seven offers in only 4 days. Andrew organized the offers in an Excel spreadsheet in a very logical manner and we discussed the relative merits of the various offers. We choose one of the offers and the sale was completed without any problems.
