We ended up getting about 3% more than we were asking, which we were NOT expecting at all, given the market conditions and the sale of our neighbor's house. And after we were under contract, everything went incredibly smoothly. I was worried the entire time that something was going to go wrong, but Al continually reassured me that we'd make it happen, and we did.
