I am very pleased with how Doug Knutzen handled the sale of my house. It was not the usual job of a real estate agent since I already had a buyer for my property when I contacted Doug. It was Doug's job to negotiate some details with the buyer and to take care of all the technical aspects of the sale, representing MY interests. I can't praise Doug's efficiency and knowledge enough. Doug Knutzen is the best real estate agent on the Long Beach Peninsula. After living on the Peninsula for 25 years, my husband passed away and I remarried. My new husband and I owned four properties between us. We decided to leave the Peninsula and needed to liquidate our properties. I started by selling my business and residence building, the Bay Trader. It could have been a difficult property to sell but Doug sold it the same day it was listed. He then sold a Willapa Bay front house which I had been operating as an Airbnb. The property sold for full price in an as-is condition. There was some deferred maintenance that I didn't want to deal with. Two down, two to go. My husband had owned his house for under a year. We were afraid we were going to be holding it for many months. But no! fJust when we were getting nervous, Doug came up with two buyers the same day and the property sold for a reasonable price. We will be putting the fourth property, some bare land, on the market next fall. Doug is professional, personable and efficient. No messing around. No unreasonable promises. He is a long-time resident and owned a long-standing successful peninsula business prior to become a Broker. He knows the market, the real estate climate and the right people. She knew the market well however I didn’t think she was very knowledgeable on some of the comparables. More guidance on offering amount’s would have been appreciated . I know now we overpaid for our house considering items not found in inspection.

She kept after the elusive sellers and worked out a deal which will save me about 10 grand. She managed to get our closing done with only days to spare before we would have been staying in a motel. She was friendly, helpful and informative throughout the deal and kept me, first-timer, out of trouble and in the race. ...WE WON.....AAUUUUU....

Years ago I was a Realestate Agent & I believe I know what makes a good one - when we were interviewing Agents Foyg hit all the criteria. He knows his market, he’s honest & follows through. He’s east to get a hold of & promptly returns calls. I really liked that he explains the process - but doesn’t fill the conversation with fluff.
