Realtor, Rob Centers response time to inquiries and questions is excellent. He answered questions and is knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. I understand Realtors work for both the buyer and seller. That being said, I felt he was working harder for the buyer than myself as the seller. We discussed a fair listing price according to market value and upgrades made to my home. We listed at 110,000 which Rob stated as good. After about a month and a half, I let Rob know to lower the price by 5000.00, he did. Then a potential buyer I feel was low-balling asking my to accept an offer of 86,000. I refused and counter offered at 103,000. The potential buyers countered at 95,00 stating they would not go any higher. Rob was really pushing for me to accept this and the 1st offer as well due to market change and the amount of homes selling at Orchard Ranch. My home had been remodels, new roof with transferable warranty and other repairs/upgrades so it was move in ready. I refused the 95,000 offer. I caught for me as the seller to get the best price. I felt Rob was pushing more for the buyer. In the end, the buyers accepted my 100,000 counter offer which actually gave Rob more commission. I’m glad I didn’t just listen to Rob and accept a low ball offer. I’m happy with the equity I received and I’m sure Rob is too.
