I expected the process of finding my first home to take at least one year. In my mind, I set aside 2 months just to find the right agent, and then 10 months of searching for the right home. Kathy was the first Realtor I reached out to, on a Thursday, and told her I was agent shopping, didn't want any commitment and was planning to take my time for this process.
