Derek was great from day 1 when he walked through our house and let us know what we should update/fix before listing. To his surprise, we finished all of that in a month and were ready to list. When our first buyer lost financing just days before closing, it was hard for us to stay optimistic, but Derek never doubted we would be able to sell, even if the market had cooled off. He helped us stay optimistic the whole way across the finish line. While the process was stressful for a bit there, I dont think i would have gotten through.

To say our house selling experience was rough would be the understatement of a lifetime. After receiving multiple offers within 24 hours of posting our home, we picked the offer that best suited us. After a few delays in closing, the buyer ended up having to pull out of the deal after about 60 days being under contract, leaving us feeling dejected and worried. From there, we continued to have some interest, until finally finding the right buyer for us and closing soon after! Derek was with us the entire time, and his calm demeanor, positive attitude, and professional knowledge helped us navigate this tumultuous time. Before listing our home, Derek came through and gave us ideas of how to maximize the value of our home efficiently. Each time we received an offer, he made sure to fully explain the offer, helping us understand the logistics and giving us ideas of the value of the home. He also shielded us from some "predatory" buyers, including one that gleefully responded "have fun showing these extra inspections to your next buyer" when we rejected their offer (we were only shown a small amount of that exchange, but I can only imagine what he had to deal with). Working with Derek for over 3 months, I can guarantee you are receiving a professional, knowledgeable, and caring agent. His calm demeanor helped us through tough moments, while his knowledge kept us on top of keeping our home in presentable shape. He stands up for his clients to ensure they are getting what they deserve, while also being honest about expectations to ensure both buyers and sellers are feeling satisfied with potential deals. A 2000 character limit is the only barrier that can stop me from continuing to praise this individual. While the stress of buying and selling a home can seem inevitable, having a real estate agent like Derek can help it seem manageable. He is in constant contact, willing to talk or answer questions at any time, and has wonderful character. He has my recommendation!

Mike dug through nearly every home in the area in our price range. His advice was always apropos and welcome. When we had any questions he was always available to answer them. Mike was also extremely accommodating to our needs as we were out of state during most of the process. He even went as far as doing some videos showings for us.
