Most professional and insightful realtor I’ve ever worked with I actually began working with Jodi about three years prior to selling our house. She provided an assessment of my home following A failed attempt to sell the property during a divorce. She recommended changes and improvements we could make in advance of attempting a resale of the property. Once we decided to put the house on the market again she provided additional up-to-date insights on fire trends and how to price and position the home. After our home was on the market for about 60 days she recommended minor adjustments to the Marketing and the pricing of our home which ultimately resulted in a successful sale. We have bought, built or sold properties in Chapel Hill and Hillsborough 7 times over the past 16 years, through Jodi Bakst. We had great experience working with Jodi and her team every single time, and Jodi has become a good friend of our family over the years. Most of the transactions occurred when we were living away from Chapel Hill. Jodi would send us listings and would painstakingly preview properties that we thought might work for us. Sometimes she would work with us for years before we found one property we liked. Jodi typically handled the inspection, survey, closing and any other research we tasked her with, and her diligence was always meticulous. Jodi goes over and beyond her call of duty to help her clients both before and after closing. She has recommended to us skilled professionals to carry out repairs or improvements to the property both before and after sale. Jodi maintains good relationship with her clients well after a sale is completed. Since we are frequently away from town, Jodi periodically checks on our house especially after severe weather conditions, and we depend on her to let tradespeople in for maintenance or other work, years after the house was purchased.
