Working with Jodi was a real pleasure. She was always available, always attentive, always professional, always knowledgeable. She helped us in our long search for a house and the purchase of a dream house when we finally found it. She helped us navigate the search and purchase where we always felt we were in good hands and that she was looking out for us. We would highly recommend her and will use her again when selling our house.

I worked with Karyn both to buy and sell my first home, and I could not recommend her more. She is such a unique blend of sharp negotiating skills and a kind, caring heart. I always felt like she balanced my interests and my motivations with her knowledge of the market in a way that ensured all my needs were met. She is well prepared, punctual, responsive, polite, and incredibly savvy. Everything you want in your housing advocate!

Karyn has helped us buy a few homes in the triangle, but this was the first sale we did with her. Just as with buying, her attentiveness, timely responses, and wealth of knowledge were invaluable in getting our house listed and sold quickly and for well above asking price. Thanks!

We have worked with Karyn since we moved to Durham in 2018. She has helped us find and negotiate purchases and to set up and sell our house. The work she puts into making the experience great for all concerned is beyond anything we have previously experienced with a real estate agent - and we have worked with a few good ones. During the purchase process, she is really focused on asking about things that we may not have noticed. She follows up and is available at all sorts of times to see properties. During the sale process she worked with us to set up the house to show as well as possible. She was very specific in her advice on set up and price and it worked! We will always work with Karyn on property transactions as long as we are in Durham!

Jodi was our buyer's agent during a recent long-distance move. We were able to visit briefly and meet Jodi at the start of the search, when she made an effort to show us different property, neighborhood, and location types to get to know what we were looking for and also to help us get to know the area. She helped us through several virtual showings over the summer and we appreciated how forthcoming she was in her opinions about different aspects of each home. She helped us through several offers in this summer's difficult housing market, and finally closing on an ideal home last month. Jodi was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the inspection process. We were a little apprehensive about moving in sight unseen, but love the property just as much as we thought we would! We would recommend Jodi to anyone in our situation, and would use her if we move again (though we doubt we'll want to leave our house!).

Jodi really helped us through all the process of finding the right house for us. As it was a new construction, she was with us in every step making sure everything was done right. Thanks to Jodi our experience buying the house went great. She is also an excellent person and was always available when we had questions or concerns.

Never before have I had a service that so exceeded my expectations! As a person that has had some experience in life I’ve understandably bought services of all types, real estate services among them. You will obviously like the services most, that meet or exceed your expectations of that service. The way Jodi Bakst helped us find a house in Chapel Hill and finish all the paperwork needed for financing and closing on the house, so exceeded my expectations that I was frankly astounded. Jodi did a fantastic job of setting up a customized search for us and speed shopping with us for long days. Her commitment to succeeding in meeting our housing needs was obvious. Furthermore, her friendliness, jolly spirit and her driven, no-nonsense way of dealing with the task at hand, delighted me – a very effective type. I enthusiastically recommend her to anyone looking for a property.

Jodi is phenomenal! She went above and beyond all my expectations, while we were selling our house. Selling a house and moving is always a big deal and often a hassle. However, Jodi was such a great partner and helper in the whole deal that she made it feel easy. We highly recommend her.

Jodi helped us buy our house, and we went back to her when we were relocating and had to sell. She helped us to get a great price and followed through to get the deal closed. We were delighted to work with her again.

I could not have asked for a greater realtor than Jodi when buying my first house. Jodi was extremely knowledge about the market and provided the best advice that led to my offer being secured, while still looking out for you as a buyer. She’s continued to follow up with me during seller repairs on the house to ensure that everything is being done as outlined in our closing contract. Thank you for everything, Jodi!!
