
I lived in Chapel Hill for 25 years before moving out, so I’m familiar with many of the well-known realtors in the area. Before meeting Jodi, I spoke with another agent to evaluate my home. She was very nice, but she told me that homes in my neighborhood were not selling well and She suggested listing my house at a price similar to another home on my street.However, my house sits on a premium lot, has a very unique layout, and includes many upgrades. Even so, the other realtor still felt we should list at a similar price point. Then I called Jodi. She arrived at my house within an hour carrying a folder full of research she had already prepared. After reviewing my home, she confidently told me she believed we could list it significantly higher than the comparable homes in the neighborhood — but she also explained that proper preparation would be essential before going to market. Jodi worked incredibly hard. She checked on the house almost every day. She designed improvements for the landscaping, coordinated painting for the siding, and guided every detail of the preparation process. At first, I was hesitant to invest in all those improvements because I wasn’t sure I would get the money back, but she was absolutely right. She spent an entire month preparing the house for sale. She arranged a pre-sale inspection and helped address the major issues ahead of time. She hired an excellent photographer, and the listing photos turned out absolutely gorgeous. She used virtual staging upstairs and professional staging downstairs, all while keeping staging costs much lower than we originally expected. Throughout the entire process, she was transparent, hardworking, and extremely dedicated. My house sold in just 5 days with multiple offers, plus sold price is forty thousands above the list price. I truly believe Jodi is exceptional at what she does, and I would highly recommend her to anyone selling a home in Chapel Hill.
