April Neuhaus is our buyer and seller agent in the sale of our current home and the purchase of a new home to meet our emerging family needs. As our seller agent, she completed a market analysis and recommended a listing price that would maximize our return on investment. She brought value to the sale through the use of high quality marketing materials, such as professional sales brochures, virtual tours, and pictures. She advised us on how to prepare for showings and gave us access to a mobile app to allow us to manage showings, inspections, and appraisals. April exceeded our expectations because, not only did we receive and accept an offer on the first day of showings, but the contract price was $5,000 above our asking price - and this was during uncertain market timing due to the ongoing pandemic. In addition, we closed on the sale only one month after contracting for the sale. We had fully intended to move out of the home and find a rental to move into between our sale and our purchase. This became unnecessary as April negotiated a leaseback arrangement with the buyer. As our buyer agent, she evaluated our family needs and recommended a home that met our needs at a competitive price and in a neighborhood we were interested in.
