Nykki Van Hof is the gold standard of realtors. She was amazing from day one. I wasn’t an easy buyer because I was using my VA loan and very unsure about what exactly I wanted. In fact, I almost decided to buy a new construction that was way over priced. Nykki was honest with me and said that if I wanted to sell that house in 4-5 years I wouldn’t make much of a profit…… 30 days later the seller of the new construction lowered the price by almost $50k. I was very impressed with her ability to foresee that and prevent me from making a mistake. She was also very patient with me. I was super wishy washy about where I wanted to live. Also she told me about the HomeTown Hero Program for veterans, teachers and law enforcement etc. I was able to move into my house using my VA loan AND because of the HomeTown Hero Program I was able to close on my house with nothing down and no closing costs. From the moment I first spoke to Kristen on the phone, I knew she was the perfect fit for my real estate needs. She answered my call almost immediately on referral on a mid Sunday morning! After speaking to her, within less than an hour she had an appointment set up to video tour the property in person, remotely because I was in Illinois at the time. From start to finish of the whole process was an amazing experience. Kristen genuinely cared and went above and beyond to make sure everything was correct, in proper order during the buying experience. Since I never saw the property in person before submitting an offer, Kristen made sure that all of my questions and concerns were addressed in a swift timely manner.
