I took the Real Estate classes to get license at Kent State (Salem Branch), and many classes throughout my 37 years plus to better myself with Real Estate changes, requirements and knowledge. 2. Why did you choose a career in real estate? I chose a career in Real Estate because my dad knew a wonderful lady in Real Estate who is still a Realtor in Salem who felt our personalities were alike. Sincerity, honesty, and caring about people are very important to me. After speaking and working with her, I decided, I wanted to be a Real Estate Professional! 3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live? I live in the West Branch School District and have lived here most of my childhood and adult life. I have raised my 3 children in this area. I have sold Real Estate in all of Stark, Mahoning, Columbiana and Portage Counties and including the surrounding areas. I like living in this area and working with buyers and seller moving in and out of my own territories. 4. How do you spend your free time? When I am not working I love spending time camping, boating and spending time with our Kids and Grand Children. In the winter we like to take our vacations where it is warm. 5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be? All of my family, Husband, kids, Grandchildren my new 5th wheel my wonderful career in Real Estate 6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you? Considerate of others and diligent.

I received a BA in Business Management from Malone University before working as an independent nonprofit development specialist. My time working with nonprofits throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania taught me how to listen and understand other people's dreams for themselves and for the future of their community. 2. Why did you choose a career in real estate? When I worked with nonprofits, it was connecting them to the resources they needed to pursue their vision. Now I'm inspired to take that experience and use it to connect people with a place they can call home. 3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live? I live in small neighborhood where everyone knows their neighbors as people, not just the house next door. It's full of properties with big trees and serenity, but it's also a short drive to the activities my family enjoys. 4. How do you spend your free time? I enjoy crocheting and watching TV with my family. I also love to read mysteries and detective stories as well as biographies and other non-fiction. 5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be? My family, our music collection, and our pictures. 6. In one word, how do you think your friends/family would describe you? Trustworthy

Selling our childhood home

My siblings and I were tasked with selling our parents home while none of us still live in Ohio. Cheryl worked with us for several months helping us with: getting the house emptied, deciding what repairs make sense, pricing, and finally selling. She was so patient while we dealt with emotions, and she managed things in alliance that we’re probably supposed to be done by us. She always had focus on the outcome we needed. Ultimately the house sold fairly quickly and at a good price. Highly recommend Cheryl!

A true professional who always has your best interest in mind.

From day one Cheryl provided the information we needed to find our perfect next home. Once we found that home, she worked diligently to ensure we were taken care of and not taken advantage of. Her due diligence and understanding of the laws, regulations, and mineral rights allowed me to negotiate an agreement that was beneficial to both myself and the seller. When she didn’t know the answer to my questions, she unselfishly reached out to the right professional who was able to provide a complete and thorough answer that made my decisions easy. Cheryl’s ability to navigate the situation, determine the best path forward, then communicate the plan was perhaps the best I have experienced in the profession. Assistance through the entire home sale process

Cheryl helped us through the process to prepare, list, and close on the sale of our home. The listing pictures really helped to highlight the home and generate interest. We especially appreciated her assistance through the home inspection and responding to complete requested repairs quickly in order to close on time. Her contacts to accomplish everything promptly was invaluable. We were very pleased with being able to close the sale without delay.
