She moved us forward from the beginning. Her research was spot on so we always knew what to expect. We had some sentimental feeling that kept distracting us but because she had listened to us from the beginning she was able to get us back on track. Her honesty never wavered so anytime we talked she gave us a dose of tough love. We knew she was right and that it was because she cares about her clients. From down the street Jen started by reviewing with us the market, the necessary preparations and the actions necessary with us. Because of health issues our daughter had to represent us in moving out and clearing the house. Jen then had our house cleaned and photographed with emphasis on the hardwood floors making the house look very attractive. She also managed to include pictures of the front garden in summer and a winter picture. She helped us reduce the painting and repairs necessary for a good sale. Jen priced the House so that we had offers when the house was first shown. The effective presentation and marketing at the open house resulted in an offer $30,000 above our asking price. A rapid settlement and as-is agreement which she negotiated were very important to us She handled the settlement details so well that we had no problems and had our proceeds in our bank on the day of settlement. She was more a good neighbor and friend than an agent at all times. Overall we had the best possible outcome of our need to rapidly sell the house.

I cannot express to you how happy I was to be able to work with Jen to sell my father’s home after he passed last year. Jen was not just my realtor, she was my therapist, she was a confidant to vent to, she was my guide, and she was the light at the end of that dark tunnel. My father and I were very close, so his passing was and is still difficult to accept. But with Jen’s help and compassion we got through every hurdle that came in front of us. And believe me there seemed to be an INFINITE amount of hurdles. But we overcame each one and that’s because of the knowledgeable expert that Jen is. She didn’t just focus on selling the property and making her commission. She got to know my family and she made sure that we had insight into every avenue we had to take to make this sale happen.
