My husband and I live in Tallahassee, FL. We wanted to retire and live closer to our children. We knew that we wanted to downsize and possibly buy a manufactured home. Barry was recommended to us by the realtor who helped us sell a home in VA. So, I guess you can say Barry is the realtor other realtors recommend. Barry impressed us with his knowledge of the local area and everything we needed to know about manufactured homes in our first conversation with him. We knew after talking to Barry that we made the right decision to downsize into a manufactured home. And we knew that Barry was the right choice for a realtor. We flew out to CA and he showed us several properties in a very short time. We bought the perfect home for 2 retirees looking to downsize in a 55+ mobile home park in Pismo Beach, CA. Our only regret is that Barry is not in Tallahassee, FL to help us sell our current home. The best part is that with Barry you get a special bonus, his wife Sherrie. What a wonderful experience Barry and Sherrie gave us in what could have been a very stressful time. My wife and I chose Barry to represent us because he has a great reputation and we're so glad we did! His friendliness, knowledge of the area, sharp eye for detail, and ability to understand what we were looking for were all very helpful in the searching process. He was also great at bringing up factors we hadn't even considered. All that made it much easier to find our new home. Then when it came time to write our bid he knew exactly what clauses would be important to add for flexibility and comfort. At one point the sellers were a little difficult but Barry's forethought kept us in the driver's seat. Barry was also very responsive in checking details we were concerned about. We were living 400 miles away at the time he was always happy to be our eyes and ears there. When it came to negotiating and closing the deal he always knew which button to push and when to push it. I would recommend Barry Brown to anyone looking for a real estate expert in the area he serves.
