Laid Back, Professional, and Personable
From the beginning and throughout our search for and ultimate purchase of our home, Marques was informed of what we might like and resourceful with where we to find it. He accommodated my ignorant suggestion(s) of houses that quickly revealed themselves as non-options, but Marques still met us there. Given his experience, he must have known ones we went to look at would be duds, but he never tried to talk us out of seeing any of them; it’s a testament to his understanding that this was new to us, and it was necessary to spend time see what we didn’t like in order to discover what we did.
His availability and flexibility to show us houses was stellar, so while it seems like we made our decision to buy rather quickly, it was in part due to Marques being available to answer questions and show us so many houses in such a short time. In addition to scheduling houses we found, he quickly intuited what we might like, so he strategically planned good house-hunting days, again including some to make sure our perspective was as well-rounded as possible. At no time did I feel rushed or uncomfortable about looking for and taking my time to consider options. All along the way, he talked openly and candidly about the houses we saw; his transparency in discussion was an asset. The very nature of the relationship is Marques making money from my wife and I buying a home, but I am honestly surprised I never felt that was a part of the equation.
His approach with clients has also obviously fostered his relationships with others in the real estate industry. This process was made as smooth as possible due in large part to Marques being a good person for clients and others in the industry to work with.
Having Marques to work with minimized the unpleasant parts inherent to home buying, and he optimized the good parts of a home-buying adventure.
Thank you, Marques!
