The 1996 film starring Tom Cruise and Cuba Gooding Jr. is a comedy about a sports agent with a huge heart and the dream of doing business differently. In the film the agent goes above and beyond over and again for his client, often to hilarious and entertaining lengths (SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!). While my experience with Kroger Menzer was not as cinematic/dramatic, he really does parallel the passion to go beyond the status quo, the huge heart, the genuine people/listening skills, and deep expertise in his field of the Jerry Maguire character. Kroger helped me sell my 78 year old mother's condo in Day Break, Utah. I very much felt like we were a team working together. I was well supported in my efforts to do minor renovations, repairs and staging to get the place in its best condition to go to market. He was extremely patient and respectful of my aging mother, very knowledgeable about the other roles in the process (not just his piece of the equation).
