The Aughenbaugh Team were a great asset to have on our side when purchasing our first newly constructed home in a new State. We weren’t familiar with new construction homes and were a bit overwhelmed and confused. Then we realized that our child had purchased a home a year ago and the Aughenbaugh Team were their agent. Therefore, they became our agent. They were instrumental in getting our home exactly the way we wanted it. They were very helpful in directly us through the process and were always a phone call or text away with any questions.

Our daughter and son-in-law bought their 1st home a year ago with assistance from Heather and Shane. They helped them navigate the difficult real estate market in York as 1st time home buyers. Our daughter even said that Shane reminded her of her father- looking with a critical eye for potential issues in homes they were shown. They promised Heather and Shane that we would soon be needing their help when we relocated to the York area. Well, that time came in February. Even though Heather and Shane didn’t show us any homes, we decided quickly to build in a development, they were invaluable to us. One of the most important things they helped us with was to negotiate with the builder. We wanted a design change to the house (take out a 1/2 bath) and they were able to convince the builder to not only do the change but also to get us a bit of a credit! It was nice having someone in the area ( we moved from out of state) to help and answer questions. Heather and Shane were prompt in responding to our questions, patient with our many questions (the last time we purchased a house was 30 years ago) and very friendly and personable. We have 2 new friends in York!
