Don was very professional and did a great job generating lots of viewings of our house. The digital advertising he did seemed to be very effective as we had a high quantity of viewings. It took a while to sell our house because we probably set the price at too high a point to begin the process. That's why I have this as 4 instead of 5 stars. My only critique is that we would have appreciated a bit more push back on our coming in position on price. Aside from this critique, Don was great with communication and being open with us when we needed to reduce the price of the listing. He was great working with us through the negotiation phase, which was complicated by some big asks from the buyers after inspection. I would definitely recommend Don to someone looking to sell their house.

Ruthie Ober recently handled the sale of my home following the death of my wife, and my purchase of a condominium. She also had previously handled the sale of my father’s home following his passing. Needless to say, this was a very difficult time, and I was in no mood to tolerate endless showings, or to entertain lowball offers indefinitely. I just wanted it to be over with quickly at a price that would allow me to move on. Ruthie fully understood my position. We had an offer on my home within a week that I accepted. However, I considered the demands following the home inspection to be excessive and unreasonable. I told Ruthie to reject the offer without countering. I was fully prepared to blow the deal, but Ruthie wasn’t. She worked tirelessly, forced me to keep my eye on the ball and was a calming and thoughtful influence during a difficult negotiation. Could the deal have been more financially beneficial or the concessions less excessive? Who knows? Ruthie did exactly what I asked her to do and guided me skillfully through what was a painful period of my life. We closed on both the house and the condo on the same day allowing a seamless move. We’ve worked with Don & Cyndi for about 17 years, from when Don showed up at closing, and we didn’t know who he was, because we’d only worked with Cyndi. We still laugh about that. To selling our house, in one day, Thanksgiving Day, to buying and selling our condo in Springboro. Always a smooth operation, they lay out exactly what they will do, from, staging, to photographs and videos. Always there to answer questions and to guide you through the entire process. True professionals. They know the market and will do what is necessary to get you the best deal possible on a purchase and/ or a sale. If you are contemplating doing either, give them a call. They will take great care of you.
