From the start, Suzy exemplified professionalism. Attentive to our wants for what we were looking for in a second home, she did her best to find locations that fit what we were looking for. We happened to find a location without her assistance, asked for her thoughts and opinions on the location, which she happily did, and offered to represent us and be our point person in Ocean Isle Beach. Suzy went out of her way to photograph the unit for us (we live in NJ), was the liaison between us and the developer, handled meeting with the home inspector, performed the initial walkthrough, made notes of repairs that needed to be made, and was always in contact with us with updates and just checking in. I was intrigued by the write up of a beachfront property; Clif Cheek took me to a viewing. The property owner and I could not agree on a price so I continued with an online search. Fate led me to a unit in Islander Villas Condos. Unfortunately I was unimpressed by that particular unit. But Clif suggested I look at another property in the same development. He was very patient while I inspected and asked hundreds of questions. I decided to make an offer; but I asked him for some guidance. In a very low key manner, Clif offered his advice. After a few back and forth offers and counters, we settled on a price attractive to both seller and buyer. I met Suzanne 4 years ago when I was searching for a home in OIB. I made an offer on a home sight unseen before we met and at that time she was not only professional but went above and beyond to meet me when I arrived in OIB.
