Not only did he make the referral that was instrumental in selling our oceanfront cottage in Cannon Beach, Oregon, but he also went above and beyond helping us buy our lake home while we were still in Cannon Beach. He made multiple trips to the lake house that we ultimately bought, gave us video tours of it, pausing and answering questions about every room, zooming in and out to help us get a better sense of the property and its amenities for all three of its buildings. We had a great experience working with Joy to sell our first home. She was very knowledgeable about the local market and was always honest with us about her recommendations and what she felt would put us in the best position to sell. At the same time, she listened to our concerns and respected what we wanted. When we felt strongly about listing the home higher, she supported our decision. We also really appreciated how personal she made the process. She took the time to sit down with us in person, walk us through everything, answer our questions, and make sure we understood what to expect. As first-time home sellers, that meant a lot to us. She also understood that this wasn't just another property to us. It was our first home, and we had put a lot of time, effort, and love into renovating it. She made a point of communicating that to potential buyers and highlighting the work we had done to the home. What impressed us most was how helpful she continued to be even toward the very end of the process. After we had already moved out, she helped coordinate lawn care and house cleaning and even returned our Wi-Fi equipment to the store for us. Those little things took a lot off our plate during an already busy move and went well beyond what we expected. Selling our first home was definitely an emotional experience, but we always felt like our concerns were heard and that we had someone knowledgeable helping us navigate the process. I feel very fortunate that I worked with Lane to sell my rental property. Lane has a long history in real estate and has experience with rental properties. The process went very smoothly. After meeting Lane at the house to give him a tour, he got it listed on MLS quickly. His photo person did an outstanding job to showcase the house. I even saved the images as a keepsake, since they were so good. Lane also provided me an account on a website for showings, which kept me up to date on any appointments taking place at the property. This allowed me to know when I could access the property as I did some light painting and other items. Since my house got listed in the Fall and the market was cooling off overall, I consulted with Lane on reducing the price on MLS. He gave me a good suggestion to not drop too much. I managed to get a solid offer shortly thereafter. All the paperwork was processed electronically. Lane has a good system in place to handle the whole process quickly. Overall, it ended up being an easy process to get the sale done. I wasn't expecting that, so I appreciate Lane's knowledge and experience.
