I cannot recommend Martha Pendergast highly enough. Like everyone I have experienced a gamut of realtors, some decent, some awful, but Martha stands head and shoulders above the rest. As my agent for the recent sale of my second home on the Cape she was a conscientious researcher and helped me make a number of decisions with confidence that we had all the information. She has honesty and integrity, and a local reputation for having it. She is deeply familiar with the Falmouth area (and likely other nearby areas) and knows a wide variety of local professionals. She gives open houses tirelessly, even in the worst weather, and remains positive throughout. I was not onsite, so she handled virtually everything, giving open houses, showing individual buyers, being there for the smoke detector inspection and buyer's inspection, and checking in on the house as often as necessary. I felt absolutely confident knowing she was there! She is also a very good communicator and lovely person, with a good sense of humor and a positive, pragmatic outlook. This was my first time not dealing with a large realty corporation for a sale or purchase, and I will never go back - Martha has converted me. All around, a great experience!
