The Lawrence market is a little tricky. It’s highly seasonal. There is a huge variation of properties in close proximity, and many properties have interesting features and hidden problems. Heather is perfectly competent to show up and tour houses, but she really shines when it comes to making offers and working with other agents. I forgot how much red tape and minutia is involved in the home buying process, and there is no way we could have known what was possible (or how certain rights and clauses affected us) if not for Heather. She explained everything as we went along. BUT THE THING THAT REALLY STANDS OUT is how she ALWAYS picked up the phone, day and night! If we ever had a question or concern, she always answered us. Her constant communication kept our home buying process from becoming a nerve wracking mess. She truly embodied the role of advocate throughout the process, which we desperately needed. In hindsight, I am so glad we went with Heather, and I feel like I not only got a great property in the end, but we walked away with a new friend as well.
