From an initial discussion of price range and what we were looking for to closing on our dream home, she offered excellent guidance and relevant information. We were able to look at a wide variety of options to narrow down our focus, and Blythe was proactive in finding promising listings. She understood the market and professional details of home buying in a way that gave us peace of mind. While looking at individual homes, she gave honest and valuable insight into specific features and things to look for. She was incredibly competent in considering possible remodel and upgrade options for specific spaces. In the bidding process, her advice and communication helped us compile a competitive offer that won a hot property. Blythe was very responsive and took time to help us understand specific details about home buying so we were empowered to make informed decisions every step of the way.

I was an out-of-state buyer for a place in Lawrence KS, and I needed a real estate agent. My sister insisted we use Heather, and I felt obliged to comply. But boy am I glad we got Heather. The Lawrence market is a little tricky. It’s highly seasonal. There is a huge variation of properties in close proximity, and many properties have interesting features and hidden problems. Heather is perfectly competent to show up and tour houses, but she really shines when it comes to making offers and working with other agents. I forgot how much red tape and minutia is involved in the home buying process, and there is no way we could have known what was possible (or how certain rights and clauses affected us) if not for Heather. She explained everything as we went along. BUT THE THING THAT REALLY STANDS OUT is how she ALWAYS picked up the phone, day and night! If we ever had a question or concern, she always answered us. Her constant communication kept our home buying process from becoming a nerve wracking mess. She truly embodied the role of advocate throughout the process, which we desperately needed. In hindsight, I am so glad we went with Heather, and I feel like I not only got a great property in the end, but we walked away with a new friend as well. I highly recommend her and would do business again with her in a heartbeat!
