Mykah and Tracy were the key for a successful transaction. We interviewed multiple brokers and decided to work with them which is one of the best life decisions we've made. They helped us move out old belongings and extract value from those belongings ranging from art auctions, misc furniture sales, to junk hauling. They then helped plan renovations and interior design work down to paint colors and fixture selection. They have good design taste. Once the project was underway the project managed nearly every aspect of this. Once the house was renovated and staged it looked amazing- beyond our expectations. They then segued into the pricing, listing, marketing, and showing tactics. They had a great sense of the Bay Area market at large as well as the specific neighborhood nuances that would be key to a successful process. They did the big things like managing a renovation and the small things like daily watering of the plants so they'd be healthy during the sale. In the end we got an offer above asking price with an efficient hassle free closing. My family was balancing a lot of life logistics at the time- Mykah and Tracy acted with kindness, professionlism, and efficiency at every step. I wish I had a fleet of houses to sell so I can work with them again- but alas- this was a one-off transaction- but it went perfectly.

Tracy and her partner Linda were recommended to us by former neighbors who raved about their experience with Berkeley Hills and Tracy when they sold their house. They were so right. Tracy knows the market so well and she is a wonderful partner in the emotionally and physically difficult process involved in selling or buying a house. What I particularly loved is that Tracy and Linda work with an entire team of people who each have expertise in what is needed to get a house ready for sale. The team includes painters, floor experts, gardeners, stagers, etc. They manage everything so you don't have to worry and make decisions on hiring and supervising anything. They worked with the team members --all from the same very extended family -- for decades and things progress fast and without a hitch. Everything is done well. I also really like the way Tracy and Linda interact with their team members. And that is another thing I want to highlight. Tracy is a lovely person. She is fun and full of energy and she is kind and thoughtful. She also has excellent taste. She and her partner spent half a day going through our house deciding what kind of upgrades would be most strategic (and necessary). They then executed the plan with help from the team and it came out looking incredibly attractive. They really thought carefully about what investments we should make in the house prior to the sale, and I felt we got excellent advice. Tracy is super organized and everything is planned and priced and there are no surprises. I could not recommend Tracy higher and I just recommended her to one of my best friends.
Seller of 2506 Buena Vista Way, Berkeley
Tracy was very helpful and did an amazing job. It isn't easy letting go of a family home and she was empathetic and professional and did a beautiful job of improving a home that needed a little help. Also when problems arose she was available and dealt with things with sensitivity. I highly recommend her.

Jacqueline was absolutely terrific. She was responsive, always ready to view homes and discuss the market, knows the area, and is easy to work with. She also stayed cool when we made a late change in lenders, even though that caused heartburn for others. Highly recommend her!

Some agents are “sellers agents” and some are “buyers agents” but Ana and Team Forest are simply “the best agents”. Every single step of the way we felt like their only client and dearest friends. Our goals were their goals….and getting us exactly what we wanted was their only mission. After finding our forever house we needed to sell our home of 26 years. Faced with the prospect of moving out in the summer and spending time doing fix ups to wait for a less certain fall season was very stressful for me. Ana helped me understand the market and supported the plan for an “off market” sale. We developed an acceptable range for a sale price and my husband and I left for a week away. Ana scoured her Rolodex and sold our house in 5 days for a price well within our range. As if that wasn’t enough she was negotiating with the buyers and their agent until nearly 11 pm on a Friday night to be sure we had everything we needed spelled out in a clean offer. In this crazy Berkeley market I feel like we reinvented real estate! Now we can turn all of our attention to our next chapter. Thank you, Team Forest. New Years Day celebrations planned at a certain fully transformed Craftsman bungalow in Rockridge!
Seller of 24 Arlington Avenue, Kensington
Ana "got" the differentiating investments I made to a rental property to market the house as a viable large mid-tier Kensington property at the lower part of the price range. The written and visual marketing campaign exceeded what I had hoped for. When a pre-sale termite report complicated the sales launch, Ana and Pascal provided a reasonably priced contractor to resolve the problem promptly so the subsequent listing would be cleaner. I ultimately received the top of my target price range, which I confirmed with recent Zillow comps in this large house category. It wasn't a slam dunk getting that price as Ana had to battle against a broker who was doing his job trying to get a bargain for his client.
Buyer of 1712 Paru Street, Alameda
We heard about Team Forest from a word-of-mouth recommendation from our good friends. From the moment we met them we were impressed with how knowledgeable, supportive, and organized they were. Ana and team were also "no pressure" from the beginning, which we really appreciated as we were slow to get started. But when things ramped up and we started to be more demanding of their time and attention, they were incredibly responsive, helpful, and never made us feel guilty for yanking them all over Alameda to look at places we were excited about. When we got serious about a place, they provided the right information we needed to make a go/no-go decision. Ana held our hands every step of the way and showed us homes when we couldn't make open house times, Pascal would examine disclosures for red flags, crawl under houses to check the foundation, and check the quality of "home prep" repairs to ensure we weren't walking into a money pit. Adam jumped in as needed to show us houses when our schedules with Ana didn't align. Throughout the whole process, they remained focused on helping us find a home that met our needs and within our budget that we could fall in love with. When offer time came, Ana knew all the right things to say to the seller's agent to tip the scales in our favor and get our offer accepted, even in a very competitive market. All in all, working with Ana, Pascal and Adam was a real pleasure. We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend Team Forest to anyone looking to find their next home!
