From beginning to end, Team Martin-Lapey made the buying process an overall easy, comfortable experience. Sarah lead us expertly through the entire sale process, from knowing the best time to list our property, to managing the open houses, to pricing it for generating maximum interest, to negotiating the highest and best offer. Once we accepted the best offer, Sarah stayed involved all the way through the closing , and arranged for septic and fire alarm inspections, and site visits with the buyer, while dealing with our tenant who was still living there. Sarah also connected us with an attorney who handled the closing. Sarah led us from start to finish through the whole sale process, giving us great advice all along the way. Sarah and Marty really delivered for us. They performed beyond our expectations. We are long distance clients. We live over 3000 miles from the Cape and we really needed our agents to be advisors and our eyes and ears. They also knew that we were under no external pressure to buy a house immediately, and they pledged to hang in there with us until the right opportunity presented itself – which ended up being three months later. They began by listening to us and hearing our wants and needs in great detail. They provided insightful suggestions on neighborhoods, including which streets were heavily travelled, and conveniences located nearby. They were always available. Our questions and concerns were addressed usually within an hour and never longer than a day. This was day and night, weekend or weekday. Sarah would bring up facetime and take us on house tours remotely. She would point out everything honestly to us, whether positive or negative, and was not shy at all in her approach. When we found the “perfect” house, it had received 16 offers. Sarah and Marty worked with us to present the best offer possible, and their suggestions paid off in our offer being accepted. It’s like they are more than agents. We felt as though we had family members looking out for us and our best interests. Even a month after closing we are still in touch with them, whether it is for a service provider recommendation or where to get the best fish tacos on the Cape.
