My wife and I are first time home buyers. We had done our homework as best as we could but we knew we needed a realtor who had integrity and very knowledgeable about the local housing market. We had made up our mind we wanted a house in Elk Grove in a zip code so that our daughters could retain their school and friends and yes, it was a scary prospect with the rising home prices and interest rate hikes. We needed someone we could count on to watch our back and navigate us towards buying our dream home. So, we resorted to checking the online reviews just as I guess you are doing right now. We reviewed a lot of realtors with good testimonials but we wanted the best. We came across LuAnn Shikasho of eXp Realty during one of those online review sessions and we were quite intrigued by the rave and exceptional testimonials she had. We decided to call her up and we have not been disappointed. Look no further, this amiable lady and her team( Rodrigo and Daniela) are the "real deal" when it comes to buying or selling your home. I don't think it's possible to describe how AMAZING LuAnn truly is!!! We spoke with several realtors, and LuAnn is in a whole different league. She's kind, honest, funny, down-to-earth.... and also whip-smart, detail-oriented, and unbelievably knowledgeable and experienced. I chose to go with LuAnn Shikasho Realty Co for starters because she was the one that promptly responded to my lead email (the first two... no response, & delayed response) during my limited time in the Sacramento area, in late 2019. She gave me a comprehensive intro to her company, general comps, a general game plan, & any recommended handy work. As a side note, I was impressed with her knowledge of various architectural style homes, especially those of the mid-century modern era, a period that is of interest of mine. At the time, I was targeting 3/20 for putting the home on the market, but when the time came, it was the start of the pandemic, & with all the uncertainties, I naturally expected delays. But Luann remained optimistic & kept in constant with me on the status of the lockdowns, etc. I had to cancel my flight to do some final clean up & hauling, nevertheless her team took over & was very efficient in cleaning, tidying & photo shooting the home. After an offer, LuAnn & her team kept me updated every few days on protocol, mostly via texts & email, phone calls for more detailed issues. Docs were all done electronically & notary services was arranged to be completed at home. If your looking for a realtor that will sell your house even in the roughest situation then you can stop looking because LuAnn is that person. We had put our home for sale a week before the COVID 19 situation hit. My husband and I were quite nervous since we had put our home for sale in the worst possible time. Luckily, LuAnn had advised us in the right direction. She helped us price our home right and recommended a wonderful staging company. In addition, she has a great photographer and goes above and beyond by making a video to showcase our home, which includes drone footage. The post for our home turned out amazing, which was exactly what was needed to attract potential buyers.
