As first-time homebuyers in a market that was way more favorable to sellers, Richard was a valuable resource for my wife and me. He got a feel for our preferences pretty quickly, gave us a realistic idea of what it would take to get a home, and had a good idea of how much work might be needed to get places move-in ready (or if it seemed like we might be biting off more than we could chew renovation-wise). When first getting to know him, one thing that stood out about Richard was that he mentioned his relationships with other brokers, which I think ultimately played a role in getting the house that we wanted. Lastly, he was on top of things, so the process of closing on the house was well-organized and went smoothly!

Richard represented us in purchasing a condo in San Diego. He was very helpful from the beginning, which was fortunate as we live in New Mexico and didn’t know a lot about the city’s neighborhoods. He provided us with a steady stream of condo listings that met our needs, and gave us useful hints about the neighborhoods they were in. Eventually he and his staff took us around during a week-long visit to the city. We eventually bought a delightful condo in a different neighborhood than we had previously considered, which he recommended we look at after getting an in-person view of our likes and dislikes. He continued to be helpful in our somewhat unorthodox cash transaction, and has helped us with such items as how to deal with our new condo association and management. All in all, we had a wonderful experience with Richard and he is a profoundly knowledgeable and professional real estate agent.
