About Max

Max became a full-time real estate professional 26 years ago and was honored to receive the Rookie of the Year award his first year. Since that time, he has consistently been recognized as one of the top listing and selling agents with RE/MAX Southern Homes and Realty South, earning the prestigious Lifetime Achievement, Hall of Fame, Club of Excellence and Platinum Club Awards. Max grew up in Huntsville, AL and attended Auburn University where he met his future wife, Nancy, when they were freshmen. A family transfer took him out west and he graduated from Utah State University with degrees in Wildlife Management and Pre-Veterinary Science. He was later accepted to Colorado State's Veterinary Medicine program, but had begun working as a Conservation Officer for the State of Utah and loved the position. He later transferred to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service where he worked as a Special Investigator in North Carolina and Nevada before returning to Alabama. Max realizes that there are many reasons for buying and selling homes and prides himself on putting his client's needs and wants as his top priority, using his experience and knowledge to guide them through each step of the buying or selling process. An added bonus is that Max's son, Nick, is also a licensed agent and assists in the business. Max looks forward to personally putting his many years of experience to work for you to help with any and all of your real estate needs.
