About Matthew

Matthew Lufburrow has a rich family history in real estate. The fourth generation of his family to serve the Savannah market, Matthew Lufburrow has an intimate knowledge of Savannah and the surrounding area. After graduating from Savannah Christian Preparatory School and then earning his degree in marketing and economics from Wofford, Matthew worked for the real estate department of The Sea Island Co.. He returned to Savannah and has spent more than a decade as a Realtor, helping residential and commercial clients not only during transactions but also through his extensive network of skilled professionals. Matthew reveres his lineage and has helped grow his family's company, Lufburrow Realty, into a tight knit boutique brokerage by offering personalized training and innovative technology to his agents. He is very active with the Savannah Board of Realtors, currently serving as Vice President of the Savannah Area Realtors. Matthew has also served as the MLS Past President and teaches classes to fellow Realtors. As the real estate industry has embraced the Internet and rapidly changing technology, Matthew has stayed on the cutting edge of new technologies and has been recognized as a gifted instructor, sharing his knowledge with his fellow Realtors. Giving back to the community he loves is a top priority for Matthew. He donates his time, talent and money to support organizations such as the St. Josephs/Candler Foundation, The Alzheimer’s Association and The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
