You trust that your Realtor/Brokerage will work with your interests in mind as a client. This brokerage group only has their commission in mind. They argued to try to not have protections in place in my contract that I wanted (due diligence period, for example), recommended an inspector that did not report major damages to the house & became angry when I asked to have a contractor walk the property. There were even mistakes on contracts & the Realtor did not know how to determine comps to submit bids, telling me after closing that the Broker had never actually provided any support or training. During the final walk through, major issues were found (I am an out of town buyer), when we went to seek guidance from the Realtor & Broker in hopes of potentially canceling the deal, the Realtor started sobbing & the Broker said to me (verbatim) "You're own your own."
